i am in year 9 too. i have chosen my options but i want to become a part time insurance underwriter and an events organiser. i can tell you that kanguage skills are needed incase you plan for those not of the same language and i guess you may need d.t. resistant materials because yuo have to know sizes and etc. ICT for the poster part of things

You want to be looking at taking a Btec at college. Most of the time all colleges really look for is a good grade in maths and english. You should consider Art (to show you are creative), P.E(help with team work and give you skills to lead others), travel and tourism if your school does it will be a good one aswell, and Ict aswell. but try not to worry too much about what options you make. Just get into a good college course and it wont matter what you did at school, if you consider university as they go on college grades, not Gcse
